Cawley Chicago recently completed the sale of 4620 W. 19th Street, a 130,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Cicero, Illinois. The property sits on over 3.3 acres of land and was sold with a newly approved Class 6B tax incentive. Principal, Frank Melchert and Vice President, Matt Garland represented the building owner, a private individual owner who previously operated their business at the property for 31 years. A local business, Accurate Perforating Co. was the buyer.
“We are really pleased with the outcome of this sale. After serving as a longtime manufacturing plant, the building will get another life with Accurate Perforating. Accurate Perforating, has been running their business here in the Chicago area for over 80 years and plans to transfer over 100 jobs to this location,” Mr. Melchert said. “Albeit time consuming, projects like these is what being an industrial real estate broker is all about”.
