Cawley Commercial Real Estate Fulfills Two Leases at an Industrial Property on Chicago’s West Side

We are delighted to announce that Cawley Commercial Real Estate has fully leased an industrial building located at 5055 W. Lexington on the city’s West Side. The building’s East and West Units are now fully occupied, marking a significant achievement, as two leases have been fulfilled in a short period of time. The team of Stevan Arandjelovic, Frank Melchert, SIOR, and Matt Garland all contributed their expertise during the leasing process, leading to the best possible outcome for their client, the landlord.

The East Unit, boasting a total area of 37,137 SF with one acre of parking, was successfully leased at the end of June on a long-term agreement. With immediate access to the expressway and a convenient 15-minute commute to downtown, the location offers exceptional accessibility and high visibility from one of Chicago’s major arteries, the I-290 expressway. Furthermore, the West Unit, totaling 51,000 SF, was leased at the beginning of this year on a long-term commitment. Due to the recent lease signing, the property is now fully leased.  The property provides ample parking and a prime logistical location for the occupants, which allows them to further establish and expand their presence in the vibrant City of Chicago.

“This was a great opportunity for our client, who utilized the property for their own business for many years, to take advantage of the historically low vacancy rates,” said Frank Melchert, one of the leasing agents responsible for the successful transactions. “Having both spaces so quickly leased demonstrates that there are still ample tenants in the market.”
