Aida Chavarria began her career in real estate at Acorn Property Management as a Bookkeeper in the accounting department. During her nine-year tenure, she developed a wide-ranging knowledge of the industry and of accounting. As a part of the Acorn team, Aida handled month-end and year-end reports for multiple property owners as well as rent charges, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, bank reconciliations, financial projections, budget analysis and all accounts payable and receivables. Able to adapt to changes and always willing to take on something new, Aida became a valuable part of the team.
At Cawley Chicago, Aida started out as the Accountant and Property Manager for Metro Chicago Management in 2012. Recently, she has transitioned to primarily handling Property Management, while still overseeing the financial operations. She strives to build good relationships with tenants and focuses on being responsive and responsible. Her previous experience in accounting enables her to handle the financial side and see the full picture of the company, helping things run seamlessly. In 2023, Aida has successfully completed the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation with IREM!
