As a Senior Associate Broker at Cawley Chicago Commercial Real Estate, Dan joins the team of Zach Pruitt and Nicholas Schaefer. Dan specializes in the analysis, acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial real estate properties throughout Chicago. His primary focus is assisting private business owners and investors in maximizing their asset’s value. This consists of representing owners with the sale of their properties by positioning the asset for highest-and-best-use; and assisting owners of underperforming assets by creating a strategic leasing initiative and implementing an assertive approach to achieve increased occupancy. This specialization includes urban redevelopment and adaptive reuse strategies within Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods.
He draws on his previous experience providing a full spectrum of commercial real estate brokerage services. Having brokered deals involving industrial, office, retail, land, development, and multifamily/mixed use property types, Dan has the knowledge and drive to assist commercial property owners and investors in both finding and maximizing their investments.
Dan stays active in the community as a mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization, a board member for Headwaters Counseling, a member of the IU Real Estate Alumni Network, as well as the Young Real Estate Professionals of Chicago.
Prior to joining Cawley Chicago, he worked as a Broker at Kiser Group in Chicago as well as The Zacher Company in Northeast Indiana, where he was awarded a 40 Under 40 in Business distinction as well as a CoStar Power Broker Award in 2020. He attended Indiana University and graduated with a degree in Business Management along with a minor in Urban Planning/Community Development.
